EMCO continue
Today 05/08/2018, marks the day we break ground of DGS migration to EMCO and the blockchain.
This is the first stage of the migration. During this stage, engineers will aggregate all the grams in every account, make sure each bears a cryptographic signature, and each can be divisible. This stage is crucial, Because it is during this stage that we will prepare our grams that will subsequently be the seed for harvesting our coins. No matter where your grams are, they will be collected and organized into one wallet.
Every user is used to buying/selling grams, and knows that grams are tradable only in whole number like 1,2,3 etc. During this first stage each gram will be crushed to contain fraction. This will enable users to trade coins in in the form of fraction. Say you have 5 EMCO you can sell 4.75 and you will have in your balance, 0.25 EMCO.
Later, a mechanism will be created for validating the grams in users accounts. The validation is a way of claiming ownership of grams in your account and a key to creating a voucher that will consolidate all your grams into a voucher code with a value equivalent to your grams. For instance, you have 100 grams, when you validate them and create a voucher, the grams will be packed into one place and the voucher will be traded with a value of 100 grams.
What is it required from the users?
Each one of us will at one point or another have a task to carry out towards the success of the migration. Each task will be timed. If it times out, it is gone. Therefore we advise users to pay close attention to the dates. During this stage, users will have no task beside waiting while the engineers complete the conversion.
Thanks for your support, DGS Crypto Team.
